HENRY COUNTY, GA — Atlanta Motor Speedway announces a name change. It will now be called EchoPark Speedway following the announcement of a major sponsorship deal with EchoPark Automotive.

“We have enjoyed serving guests in the Atlanta metro area since EchoPark Atlanta opened its doors in 2020,” said David B. Smith, Chairman and CEO of Sonic Automotive. “This partnership allows us to share the value of the exceptional EchoPark car-buying experience with more guests in Atlanta and the surrounding area who enjoy the excitement of NASCAR racing at this iconic venue.”

It’s a seven-year, multi-million dollar agreement. The speedway in Hampton is home to two NASCAR races a year, including the upcoming June 28th race.

Schedules, tickets, and camping for the Quaker State 400 are available at Walmart weekend, and can be found online at www.EchoParkSpeedway.com.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp was in Henry County at the announcement Tuesday morning and says this is a big win for the state.

“Today is just another feather in our cap, if you will, when you think about the great sports mecca that the state of Georgia is becoming. Obviously, this raceway is a part of that.”

Over a million people visit the speedway every year with a $250M economic impact.
