ATLANTA — Thanks to an investment by the Atlanta Braves, major upgrades are coming to baseball and softball field at Atlanta Public Schools.

The “Hank Aaron Diamonds” initiative will cover the costs for turf infields at all APS high schools, officials said.

The program is expected to break ground later this month on the first four baseball fields at Washington High School, Jackson High School, Mays High School and North Atlanta High School.
