Debra Green
I’m originally from the Midwest but have been a proud Atlantan since the early 2000s. Music has always been an important part of my life, whether it was watching hours of MTV, reading stacks of Rolling Stone magazines or catching live music at the campus coffee house. Being the music junkie, I got into radio when I realized I couldn’t actually be a rockstar myself. I could talk about music all day and meet many of artists I enjoyed listening to. I’ve been part of the Atlanta radio scene for over a decade in both Rock and Alternative stations.
In my free time I enjoy listening to new bands, catching a concert or producing my own music podcast. Outside radio hobbies include teaching yoga, DIY home projects, adding to my growing collection of tattoos & piercings, watching horror movies, buying shoes and planning for the zombie apocalypse. I also enjoy learning languages; I can say “I like cheese.” in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Dutch, Swedish & German.
